What you will do

• Create impressive real-time particle systems for game environments.
• Build elegant materials in Unreal Engine 5 for particles and world geometry.
• Develop memory-efficient texture assets using industry-standard tools.
• Produce 3D models, UV maps, and simple animations as required.
• Collaborate with the Technical Art Director to establish production processes.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings to implement visual effects that align with gameplay concepts.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience as a VFX Artist in the video game industry.
• Must have shipped at least 2 multiplatform titles.
• Proficiency in Unreal Engine and Houdini.
• Experience with 3DS Max or Maya, Substance Designer, and Photoshop.
• Strong understanding of console game technical limitations and performance constraints.
• Solid grasp of the general art pipeline in a game studio.
