What you will do

• Create and implement high-quality real-time visual effects using Unreal Engine 5.
• Develop performance-optimized materials, textures, and VFX assets using Houdini, Substance Designer, and Photoshop.
• Collaborate with art, design, and technical teams to align effects with creative direction and gameplay goals.
• Produce supporting assets such as 3D models, UV layouts, and animations for VFX implementation.
• Ensure all effects meet artistic standards while respecting memory budgets and frame rate targets.
• Refine production workflows and pipelines in collaboration with technical art leadership.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• 6+ years of professional experience as a VFX Artist in the video game industry.
• Proven track record of shipping at least two multi-platform titles.
• Deep expertise in Unreal Engine and advanced VFX workflows.
• Proficiency with Houdini, Maya or 3ds Max, Substance Designer, and Photoshop.
