Salary: $63,840 – $121,440

What you will do

• Administer and support IBM i (AS/400) systems across production, development, and test environments.
• Manage system configurations, upgrades, PTF management, and OS releases.
• Implement and manage high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions such as PowerHA, MIMIX, or iCluster.
• Enforce security best practices, manage user access controls, and support compliance audits (SOX, PCI).
• Develop CL and RPG scripts to automate operational tasks and optimize infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot system-level incidents and resolve performance issues using ServiceNow.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience administering IBM i (AS/400) environments.
• Deep knowledge of IBM i OS internals, subsystems, and storage management.
• Proficiency in CL commands and scripting.
• Experience with backup/recovery tools and disaster recovery concepts.
• Familiarity with ITIL-based service management processes.
• Must be based in or be able to relocate to Phoenix, AZ.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power Systems hardware and virtualization (LPARs).
• Knowledge of monitoring tools and automation frameworks.
• Exposure to modernization initiatives, such as integration with APIs and open systems.
• Experience working in regulated or mission-critical environments.
