What you will do

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain IBM MQ across Windows, Linux, Unix, and AIX environments.
• Design queue managers, queues, channels, listeners, clusters, and multi-instance high-availability architectures.
• Monitor queue depths, channel health, message flows, system performance, and operational logs.
• Tune memory, resource usage, and channel configurations; manage patches, message retention, and dead-letter queues.
• Implement authentication, authorization, CHLAUTH rules, SSL/TLS certificates, and secure communication protocols.
• Resolve connectivity and message delivery incidents while collaborating with application, network, and security teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in systems administration, infrastructure support, and enterprise messaging middleware.
• Expert-level IBM MQ administration experience across Windows, Linux, and Unix/AIX.
• Hands-on experience with high availability, clustering, and multi-instance failover architectures.
• Strong knowledge of IBM MQ security, including SSL/TLS certificates and CHLAUTH rules.
• Strong troubleshooting, log analysis, performance tuning, documentation, and cross-functional communication skills.
