What you will do

• Underwrite and select new business and renewals to maintain a profitable portfolio.
• Review submissions to identify potential exposures and risks from provided information.
• Utilize underwriting tools to determine accurate classifications, rates, and premium charges.
• Monitor producers for profitability and coordinate marketing plans with regional and national associates.
• Manage renewal business, handle related servicing, and implement corrective measures where necessary.
• Resolve premium audit disputes with assigned agents and brokers.

Requirements

• 1+ years of current underwriting experience in commercial insurance.
• US Work Authorization required (hirify.global does not provide visa sponsorship).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation aptitude.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to travel approximately 25% as required.
