Salary: $85,000 – $115,000 Annual

• Negotiate underwriting and pricing decisions with carriers to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Manage a moderate book of business with a moderate to complex risk profile.
• Document all decisions in alignment with regulatory standards.
• Provide high-level customer service and respond to inquiries with a sense of urgency.

Requirements

• Associate Degree or higher and 5 years of commercial Property & Casualty underwriting experience (or 7 years of experience in lieu of a degree).
• Must be located within a commutable distance to New York City.
• Strong analytical and innovative thinking skills for productive problem-solving.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Excess and Surplus Lines.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin.
