What you will do

• Analyze daily P&L movements, positions, and risk exposures, providing detailed commentary to trading desks.
• Price and validate Futures, Options, and Swap products to support mark-to-market and valuation processes.
• Lead the identification and implementation of process improvements to enhance scalability and control effectiveness.
• Develop automation solutions using Python, SQL, and AI tools to streamline reporting and operational workflows.
• Evaluate and implement practical AI-driven solutions to improve data quality and business decision support.
• Design analytics dashboards and monitoring tools to provide actionable insights into P&L and risk performance.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in commodities or derivatives markets.
• Advanced Python coding and SQL knowledge.
• Experience leveraging AI/LLM tools for business process automation.
• Proficiency with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization platforms.
• Strong data analytics and workflow automation experience.
• Must be based in Houston, TX or Stamford, CT.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of risk management metrics such as VaR, drawdown, and Greeks.
• Familiarity with Bloomberg, Zema, WebICE, or CME Direct.
