2-Year Analyst, Real Estate Reporting & Technology

Location: Washington, DC; in-office 4 days per week

Base salary: $110,000, plus potential annual discretionary incentive compensation

hirify.global’s U.S. Real Estate business invests in demographic-based real estate sectors and manages a portfolio spanning acquisitions, dispositions, asset management, valuations, debt, and fund performance.

What you will do

• Support recurring reporting and financial analysis across the U.S. Real Estate portfolio, including valuations, operating performance, debt, acquisitions, dispositions, and fund-level results.
• Build, maintain, and analyze Excel-based financial and data models; investigate quarter-over-quarter changes in performance and valuations.
• Aggregate, validate, reconcile, and analyze data from internal systems, financial models, property managers, and third-party providers.
• Identify opportunities to automate reporting and operational processes using AI and other automation tools.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements, work with software developers, test new functionality, and support implementation.
• Develop dashboards, visualizations, data models, and analyses for investment and portfolio performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, real estate, economics, business, data analytics, computer science, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, accounting, consulting, reporting, data analytics, real estate, or technology-enabled process improvement.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including financial analysis, data modeling, and work with large or complex datasets.
• Hands-on experience using modern AI tools for analysis, automation, or software development.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements, test solutions, manage priorities, and maintain data accuracy.
• Ability to work in the Washington, DC office 4 days per week.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of IRR, equity multiples, cash flow analysis, property-level operating metrics, or commercial real estate valuation.
• Experience with financial reporting, performance analytics, dashboard development, or data visualization.
• Familiarity with SQL, Python, cloud data platforms, version control, APIs, system integrations, or internal application development.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or AI tools integrated with Excel.
