TL;DR

Software Developer SME (PL/SQL/Java): Designing, coding, and maintaining software applications for the Naval Criminal Investigative Service with an accent on system compliance, GUI design, and database optimization. Focus on integrating patches, upgrades, and resolving complex program intent and output requirements within Department of Navy networks.

Location: Hybrid position in Quantico, VA, United States. Must have Top Secret w/ SCI clearance and IAT II Certification.

Salary: $165,000 - $175,000 Annually

What you will do

  • Build and code applications and modules using PL/SQL, C++, Java, and other languages.
  • Design graphical user interfaces (GUI) to meet specific user needs.
  • Provide patches and upgrades to existing systems while ensuring software compliance.
  • Analyze system capabilities to resolve program intent and output requirements.
  • Prepare operating instructions and comprehensive program documentation.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to specifications and standards.

Requirements

  • Top Secret w/ SCI Clearance.
  • IAT II Certification.
  • 10+ years of experience in software development or commensurate experience.
  • Must be based in or able to work in Quantico, VA.

Nice to have

  • Expert knowledge in reading and writing PL/SQL code.
  • Intimate knowledge of the NCIS Case Management System application.
  • Experience working on Department of Navy networks.
