What you will do
- Own the pipeline number and drive sourced pipeline and customer acquisition in the LA market.
- Grow the local customer count through expansion opportunities and in-person engagement with high-value accounts.
- Build and curate a founder community by hosting high-impact dinners and roundtables across diverse sectors including defense, biotech, and media.
- Develop strategic relationships with VCs, accelerators, incubators, and industry networks.
- Execute local growth experiments including geo-targeted paid media, branded search, and ABM.
- Partner closely with the local sales representative to generate demand and close deals.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in marketing, community, or growth at a venture-backed B2B SaaS or fintech company.
- Must be based in Los Angeles to conduct in-person meetings and event hosting.
- Proven track record of growing a business, market, or community with measurable results.
- Strong ability to network and build face-to-face relationships with founders and investors.
- Proficiency with data, finance basics, and CRM hygiene using Salesforce.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to have
- Prior experience as a founder, operator, or accelerator alum.
- Experience within defense tech, consumer brands, or the entertainment and media industry.
