Senior Staff DevOps Engineer (Web3)

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States; in-office collaboration is expected for 10+ days per month.

Annual base salary: $220,000–$260,000 USD

What you will do

• Develop, deploy, and maintain multi-region, multi-provider service platforms.
• Build automation, monitoring, and instrumentation tools that improve engineering efficiency.
• Discover and implement next-generation infrastructure solutions with engineering teams.
• Automate platform and application lifecycle services using declared-state, low-intervention approaches.
• Collaborate with product engineering to ensure production-ready code.
• Promote DevOps-first principles and standardized engineering practices.

Requirements

• 12+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps or related roles.
• Strong programming experience with Python, Go, or Java.
• Experience managing extensive, multi-region service platforms and cloud infrastructure, especially AWS.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes, container schedulers, and runtimes such as Docker, Rkt, or OCI.
• Experience building CI/CD deployment pipelines and using Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Background in distributed services, scalability, security, robust software delivery, and Agile development.
