Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Location: New York City; in-person at the SoHo office, 5 days a week onsite

Salary: $200,000–$225,000 per year plus equity

What you will do

• Design and evolve resilient, scalable, and secure AWS infrastructure.
• Build CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code systems with Terraform, GitHub Actions, Docker, and related tools.
• Implement alerting, logging, tracing, and other observability systems to improve reliability.
• Partner with product, backend, frontend, data, and security teams on infrastructure priorities and operational improvements.
• Strengthen cloud security through IAM design, least-privilege access, and cloud posture management.
• Investigate performance and cost bottlenecks across cloud infrastructure, databases, data warehouses, queues, and application access patterns.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as an Infrastructure, DevOps, or Backend Engineer.
• Extensive experience with Terraform and reusable infrastructure-as-code patterns.
• Deep knowledge of AWS services including ECS, EC2, Lambda, CloudWatch, IAM, Kafka, and SNS/SQS.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and orchestration systems such as ECS or EKS.
• Proficiency in JavaScript or Python, plus strong knowledge of cloud security, networking, observability, and system reliability.
• Ability to work onsite in the New York City office 5 days per week.

• Experience with multi-region or distributed cloud systems.
• Exposure to compliance and cloud security posture management tools.
• Contributions to open-source infrastructure tools.
• Experience mentoring engineers or leading reliability initiatives.
