IT Systems Engineer

TL;DR

IT Systems Engineer (SaaS): Maintaining and enhancing core IT systems and endpoint management with an accent on MDM, IAM, and network infrastructure. Focus on scaling enterprise SaaS estates, managing Jamf/Intune fleets, and resolving systemic technical trends.

Location: Hybrid in Cambridge, UK (typically 2-3 days a week in the office)

What you will do

• Administer and maintain MDM and endpoint platforms (Jamf and Intune) to ensure fleet health and patching compliance.
• Manage and audit Identity and Access Management (IAM) and SaaS lifecycles for onboarding and offboarding.
• Serve as the primary 2nd line escalation point for IT Support, analyzing systemic trends to reduce recurring tickets.
• Create and maintain thorough technical documentation and standard operating procedures.
• Troubleshoot office networking infrastructure to ensure consistent connectivity.
• Take ownership of well-defined components within larger strategic IT and security projects.

Requirements

• Proven track record in IT support, Tech Ops, or EUC roles.
• Experience administering Apple/macOS environments using Jamf.
• Strong working knowledge of enterprise SaaS platforms including Google Workspace, Slack, and Notion.
• Familiarity with security best practices, patch management, and strict access control principles.
• Proficiency in network troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• Location: Must be based in or able to work from the Cambridge, UK office.
