What you will do
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize Citrix environments supporting virtualized applications and desktops.
- Build and qualify systems to meet availability and performance targets defined in service level agreements.
- Handle escalated Citrix issues and provide advanced support to end users, EUS, and EUX teams.
- Monitor system performance, perform proactive maintenance, and forecast future infrastructure needs.
- Write implementation and production handover documentation.
- Apply regular patching, updates, and security maintenance to minimize vulnerabilities and service disruptions.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience supporting Citrix systems and technologies, including Citrix Cloud, DaaS, WEM, and Citrix Monitor.
- Proficiency with PowerShell, Azure CLI, and API-based PowerShell automation.
- Experience with Windows Server, desktop environments, and Windows-based application troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, load balancing, and basic network troubleshooting.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent knowledge and experience.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and web-based automation.
- Experience with GitHub Actions, Ansible, and HashiCorp Packer for automated image builds.
