What you will do

• Conduct detailed financial analysis on public and private companies to assess investment opportunities.
• Design custom reports for the investment committee outlining risks, historical performance, and future expectations.
• Engage with company management to build relationships and coordinate information requests.
• Assist in ongoing portfolio management, including quarterly valuations and assessing future capital needs.
• Research and develop expertise around trends, themes, and business models across financial technology.
• Produce presentation materials for investment discussions and corporate strategy reviews.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration with 1 year of experience OR Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of experience in investment banking.
• Proven experience in developing and reviewing financial models including operating models, M&A, DCF, or LBO.
• Proficiency in leveraging electronic data sources including Bloomberg, FactSet, or Capital IQ.
• Experience executing debt and equity financing transactions and public/private M&A.
• Strong analytical skills including credit analysis, cashflow evaluation, and regulatory filing review.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot tables and V-lookups for large dataset management.
