What you will do

• Lead, onboard, and support a team of Localization Specialists, conducting weekly feedback meetings to ensure their success.
• Manage the end-to-end localization of deliverables across various target languages, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Perform MTPE (Machine Translation Post-Editing) translation and review of high-visibility content from English to native language.
• Oversee quality assurance for German localization processes to ensure brand compliance and linguistic accuracy.
• Enable localization processes including SEO optimization, UI/UX review, LQA, and adaptation workflows.
• Collaborate with Localization Engineers and Web Developers to resolve production pipeline bottlenecks.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience as a project manager or team lead within an in-house localization team.
• 2-5 years of overall work experience in a high-performing localization environment.
• Proficiency with Translation Management Systems or CAT tools such as MemoQ or Trados Studio.
• Excellent writing and proofreading abilities in both German and English.
• Experience managing linguistic resources, including Styleguides, Termbases, and Translation Memories.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with an ownership mentality.

Nice to have

• Experience with SEO best practices or CMS tools like WordPress.
• Knowledge of internationalization (i18n) and UI/UX localization for technical documentation.
• Work experience within a marketing environment.
• Certifications in Linguistics, Project Management, or related fields.
