Business Analyst (Fintech)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain event-based accounting specifications for Financial Markets (FM) and GT products.
• Translate complex business needs into high-quality Finance user requirements and IT solutions.
• Act as the primary Finance point of contact for complex front-to-end initiatives across squads and programs.
• Analyze data flows, assess data quality, and propose system improvements.
• Support strategic initiatives through functional, acceptance, and migration testing.
• Provide second-line functional support, including daily EOD checks for accuracy and timeliness.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Accounting & Control, Business IT, Accountancy, or Economics.
• 5+ years of experience in the financial industry with strong expertise in Financial Markets products.
• Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and assessment.
• Experience gathering requirements, creating functional designs, and maintaining product accounting specifications.
• Proven track record in participating in E2E test cycles and creating comprehensive test cases.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of FMGT Front Office and Back Office systems such as Murex, Summit, Sophis, or Calypso.
