TL;DR
Business Analyst Responsible Investments PMI (Fintech): Designing and implementing data-driven investment solutions for the Responsible Investment domain with an accent on ESG requirements and data platform integration. Focus on translating business needs into technical requirements for engineers, managing data product roadmaps, and ensuring data quality within a Databricks environment.
Location: Hybrid (Amsterdam or Heerlen, Netherlands). Minimum 2 days per week in the office; regular travel between offices (1 day every two weeks) is expected.
Salary: €5,341 – €7,630 gross per month

What you will do
- Translate business needs and problem statements into clear requirements and acceptance criteria for engineers.
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of project components from initial demand to production testing.
- Analyze ingested data sets, metadata metrics, and data models to provide business context to technical teams.
- Act as a liaison between the Data Office, Technology Office, and investment desks to align architecture with business goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to remove roadblocks and refine user requirements.
- Document business processes and provide project management services.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst.
- Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Technology, or equivalent.
- Domain knowledge of asset management; experience with Responsible Investment/ESG is highly preferred.
- Prior experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies in enterprise-level application development.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills for interacting with business and IT stakeholders.
- Must be based in or able to work from Amsterdam or Heerlen (Hybrid).
