What you will do

• Design and build market-leading analytical tools and methodologies to improve pricing accuracy and workflow efficiency.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to clients, providing actuarial insight into portfolio performance and optimal reinsurance structures.
• Price treaty reinsurance across various perils and lines using exposure data, loss experience, and CAT model outputs.
• Develop bespoke reinsurance programs tailored to client objectives for risk mitigation and capital relief.
• Partner with brokers to craft analytical placement narratives and support reinsurer engagement during negotiations.
• Mentor junior analysts and actuarial trainees, ensuring technical delivery excellence across the team.

Requirements

• Fully qualified actuary (ACAS, FCAS) with significant post-qualification experience in reinsurance, insurance, or advisory.
• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Direct experience working across Aviation and Aerospace insurance classes.
• Deep understanding of treaty reinsurance pricing approaches and portfolio analytics.
• Ability to communicate complex actuarial concepts clearly to senior stakeholders and non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency in Excel and actuarial modeling tools.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of coding languages (Python) or data visualization platforms (PowerBI, Tableau).
• Knowledge of stochastic RI pricing tools, particularly Igloo.
• Understanding of emerging technologies, including AI, Data Science, and Generative AI.
