What you will do

• Provide on-site technical support and documentation optimization for physicians and clinicians.
• Lead education for staff and physicians regarding the Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) program.
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds to identify educational needs and provide real-time training.
• Review coding queries and medical record documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Collaborate with IT build teams to align system functionality with clinician needs.
• Monitor quality indicators and ensure compliance with JCAHO and state regulations.

Requirements

• Current license as an LPN, RN, or Respiratory Care Practitioner in the state of service (MD or WV).
• 5 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting using an EMR system.
• Epic certification (to be completed as established by the department).
• Valid driver's license and current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
