What you will do
- Lead training for new hires and Qualified Cardiac Technicians to use software for clinical report creation.
- Instruct on arrhythmia recognition and interpretation strategies, maintaining expert-level ECG rhythm interpretation skills.
- Design lesson plans/curricula and create training materials using adult learning methodologies.
- Facilitate in-person and virtual classrooms, motivate learners, and adjust delivery based on evaluations and feedback.
- Implement and train QA tool release updates and scanning tool education; identify knowledge gaps and performance trends and develop training solutions.
- Support University and New Hire programs and lead team/cross-functional projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Location: must be able to work from the Deerfield, IL office (hybrid option) and support in-person needs as required.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT), Registered Nurse (RN), or Paramedic (EMT-P) licensure/certification.
- Formal ECG training experience and minimum 1 year of training/learning & development experience.
- Expert knowledge of arrhythmia interpretation with demonstrated ability to teach and evaluate learning outcomes.
- Experience with Articulate (or other training development software) and ability to develop training content without external vendors; proficiency with Zoom and Microsoft Office.
