HR Advisor (Part Time)

Location: Onsite in Hartlepool, UK

Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 (FTE)

What you will do

• Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all HR queries across the business.
• Support managers with employee relations, including absence, disciplinary, and grievance cases.
• Maintain the HR system and produce reports on headcount, absence trends, and payroll data.
• Collaborate on monthly payroll processes, including data collation and validation.
• Ensure HR policies remain up-to-date and compliant with GDPR and current legislation.

Requirements

• CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven generalist HR experience in a hands-on, operational role.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage a varied workload as a standalone practitioner.
• Experience in employee relations and advising line managers.
• Strong Excel skills, specifically pivot tables and data reporting.
• Must be based in or able to commute to the head office in Hartlepool.
