TL;DR

Senior HR Officer (HR Operations): Delivering a proactive HR service across the full employee lifecycle with an accent on HR advisory, employee relations, and manager capability. Focus on managing end-to-end recruitment, ensuring compliance with UK employment law, and optimizing HR data integrity through HRIS tools.

Location: Must be based in Bracknell, UK with willingness to travel to other NEP UK&I sites as needed.

What you will do

  • Manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, probation, and offboarding processes.
  • Act as a first-line HR advisor for disciplinary, grievance, absence, and performance management cases.
  • Oversee recruitment KPIs, workflow management in ClearCompany, and ensure right-to-work compliance.
  • Maintain HR data integrity within Employment Hero and HERO systems, leading month-end validation and auditing.
  • Administer payroll changes via Sage and manage monthly benefits including pensions, PMI, and life assurance.
  • Coordinate training and development initiatives, monitoring records and ensuring proactive refresher training.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an HR generalist or HR Advisor role with ownership of HR processes.
  • Strong expertise in managing employee relations cases and coaching line managers on people-related matters.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • Experience with HRIS (e.g., Employment Hero) and payroll processes.
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification (or currently pursuing).
  • Must be based in Bracknell, UK with the ability to travel within the UK and Ireland.
