What you will do

• Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment including CNC machines, EDM tools, and coating systems.
• Diagnose equipment faults and implement effective repairs to minimize production downtime.
• Support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives to enhance overall equipment performance.
• Interpret technical drawings, manuals, and engineering instructions for accurate maintenance execution.
• Ensure a safe working environment through rigorous risk assessments and compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with production teams, engineers, and external contractors to maintain high operational standards.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Taunton, UK.
• Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 2/3 (or equivalent) in engineering, electrical, or maintenance fields.
• Proven experience maintaining manufacturing or production equipment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple maintenance tasks effectively.
• Proactive, hands-on attitude with strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
