CNC Machinist (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Wolverhampton, United Kingdom. Monday to Thursday 7:30 am–4:15 pm and Friday 7:30 am–11:30 am, 37 hours per week. Double-day or night shifts may be introduced in approximately 18–24 months with the appropriate shift allowance.

What you will do

• Set up and operate CNC mill/turn and multi-axis machines.
• Support New Product Introduction projects and help develop and refine new aerospace components.
• Work closely with engineering and quality teams on manufacturing activities.
• Perform first-off inspections and complete required quality documentation.
• Machine complex components to extremely tight tolerances in a high-specification aerospace environment.

Requirements

• Recognised engineering apprenticeship.
• 5+ years of CNC machining experience with equipment such as Okuma, Mazak, DMG, Matsura, or Puma.
• Strong engineering or manufacturing background; aerospace experience is preferred.
• Deep understanding of machining techniques, tooling, and inspection methods.
• Proactive approach focused on precision, quality, and continuous improvement.
• BPSS clearance must be obtained and maintained for this role.
