What you will do
- Own the end-to-end accounts payable function for three UK entities and one German entity.
- Process supplier invoices accurately and manage vendor master data.
- Prepare and execute supplier payment runs and manage employee expense reimbursements.
- Produce regular accounts payable reporting and perform month-end/year-end close activities.
- Review existing workflows to identify and implement opportunities for automation and standardization.
- Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to improve purchasing-to-payment processes.
Requirements
- Previous experience in leading Accounts Payable processes for a UK entity.
- Experience with UK taxation regimes, specifically VAT.
- Strong understanding of finance administration and general accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Xero accounting, ApprovalMax, and ExpenseIn.
- Experience working with inventory, consignment stock, and purchase order management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
