What you will do

• Manage South African tax compliance including CIT, VAT, provisional tax, PAYE oversight, and withholding taxes.
• Advise on cross-border transactions such as dividends, royalties, management fees, and intercompany loans.
• Implement and monitor OECD BEPS and Pillar II requirements, including effective tax rate assessments and data reporting.
• Handle tax accounting under IFRS (IAS 12) and support local and group reporting.
• Manage SARS audits, disputes, tax risk mitigation, governance, and internal controls.

Requirements

• CA(SA) or equivalent qualification plus relevant tax qualification (e.g., HDip Tax, Master’s in Taxation).
• 3–5 years’ experience in South African CIT, VAT, WHT, provisional tax, and international tax (EU-related preferred).
• Experience in multinational group structures and manufacturing/project environments; Big 4 advisory advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of South African tax legislation, IFRS IAS 12, OECD transfer pricing, double tax treaties.
• Exposure to OECD BEPS, Pillar II, R&D tax claims; SAP/ERP and advanced MS Office skills.
• Analytical, reporting, and stakeholder management abilities.
