Operations Preparation System Engineer (Aerospace): Coordinating and preparing spacecraft operations, including the Flight Operations Centre and Ground Segment, with an accent on Flight Control Procedures and system validation. Location: Onsite in Brno, Czech Republic. Candidates must be based in the EU or have existing eligibility to work in the EU.

What you will do

• Coordinate and validate Flight Control Procedures (FCPs) and timelines for routine and contingency operations in cooperation with subcontractors.
• Author Flight Operations Manuals (FOMs) and support Interface Control Documents (ICDs) for all Satellite Subsystems.
• Manage Satellite Validation Tests (SVTs) and coordinate software/hardware related reviews such as PDR and CDR.
• Support the validation of the operational Ground Segment and coordinate Science Data Centre development.
• Provide operational support for the Launch and Early Orbit Phase (LEOP) and routine flight operations.

Requirements

• Degree in aerospace engineering, systems engineering, telecommunications, computer science, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience in spacecraft operations or system engineering.
• Knowledge of LEOP, routine/contingency operations, FCPs, FOMs, and ICDs.
• Familiarity with ground segment elements including FOC, ground stations, and data centres.
• Experience with system engineering lifecycle and reviews (PDR, CDR).
• Fluency in spoken and written English (C1) is a must.
