3D Harness Designer (m/w/x)

Location: Mladá Boleslav, Czech Republic; hybrid work with up to 40% home office.

What you will do

• Independently design and optimize 3D electrical wiring harnesses for development and series projects.
• Implement engineering changes according to OEM standards and analyze their impact on products and production.
• Create, review, and maintain CAD documentation.
• Collaborate with R&D, production, suppliers, and OEM representatives.
• Own defined harness systems or modules and drive design and process improvements.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote knowledge sharing and best practices.

Requirements

• Czech plus German or English at a minimum B2 level is required for work-related communication.
• Several years of experience in automotive wiring harness design.
• Strong knowledge of CAD tools such as CATIA V5 or similar in an automotive environment.
• Familiarity with OEM standards and product development processes.
• Technical degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, automotive engineering, or a related field.
• Structured working style, ownership, attention to detail, and ability to communicate with customers in an international environment.
