What you will do

• Align software architects across C2, Perception, and Autonomy under a unified architectural vision
• Act as the primary interface between Software and Hardware leadership to formulate and break down requirements
• Govern technical compliance, championing Modern C++ Safety Guidelines (MISRA) and NATO standards (STANAG 4586)
• Design and govern the interfaces between hardware platforms and ground stations to ensure system integrity
• Lead design reviews and mentor senior engineers to align technical decisions with the broader system vision
• Guide the architecture through necessary refactors and manage technical debt as the organization scales

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience, with significant time in Principal or Staff roles
• Background in Aerospace, Defense, or Robotics
• Proven experience as an architect across multiple engineering teams designing complex hardware/software systems
• Systems engineering approach and high emotional intelligence for leading technical experts
• Must be eligible to obtain appropriate security clearance
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
