Senior Consultant Software Development & Technical Project Lead

Location: Gilching, Bavaria, Germany; hybrid working model with willingness to travel within Germany

What you will do

• Lead software development projects from technical, organizational, and delivery perspectives.
• Coordinate customers, project managers, architects, developers, QA, DevOps, and external partners across Germany and Spain.
• Translate business needs into software requirements, architectures, work packages, priorities, and delivery milestones.
• Lead Agile and Scrum projects and facilitate technical coordination.
• Design and review scalable, maintainable, secure, and cloud-ready software architectures.
• Contribute hands-on to full-stack development, APIs, databases, deployment, testing, and integration.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development, software engineering, technical consulting, or a comparable technical leadership role.
• Experience leading software development projects and technical work packages, including scope, planning, dependencies, risks, and delivery.
• Expertise in technical project management, Agile/Scrum, software architecture, system integration, and API design.
• Hands-on knowledge of full-stack development, secure coding, cybersecurity fundamentals, vulnerability management, and DevSecOps.
• Strong customer and stakeholder management skills with a collaborative, customer-oriented approach.
• German, English, and Spanish at C1 level or higher required; willingness to travel within Germany required.

Nice to have

• Experience with PHP/CMS, Java, Python, Node, relational databases, Git, GitLab, GitHub, and automated testing with TDD/BDD.
• Experience with Linux/Windows, web servers, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, dependency management, and vulnerability monitoring.
• Knowledge of PMI/PMP, ISO 9001, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and Identity & Access Management solutions such as Keycloak.
