Commissioning Client Manager (Data Center)

Location: Remote

Salary: $140,000–$220,000 USD annual base range, with potential performance-based bonus and merit increases.

What you will do

• Serve as the primary client contact for data center commissioning programs and portfolios.
• Partner with Project Managers, commissioning leaders, and technical teams on project execution, staffing, and delivery planning.
• Understand client standards and operational priorities to proactively support long-term programs.
• Develop client-specific communication plans and provide regular project status and performance updates.
• Manage expectations, coordinate issue resolution, and incorporate client feedback into service and process improvements.
• Identify account growth opportunities and support repeat work through additional commissioning and lifecycle services.

Requirements

• At least eight years of progressive client or project experience.
• Strong client-facing communication and relationship management skills.
• Experience supporting complex projects, preferably in data centers, commissioning, or mission-critical facilities.
• Ability to translate technical activities into clear, client-focused communication.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred.
• Willingness to occasionally support client meetings, site visits, or travel as needed.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with electrical and mechanical data center systems.
