TL;DR

Regional Sales Manager (Cybersecurity): Leading and growing the Commercial segment by managing a high-velocity sales team with an accent on pipeline building, conversion driving, and revenue delivery. Focus on refining inbound and outbound motions, coaching team members, and scaling the commercial sales engine.

Location: Hybrid - Must be on site in the Chicago office 4-5 days a week

Salary: $230,000 - $260,000 annually

What you will do

  • Lead, hire, and develop a Commercial sales team through consistent coaching and day-to-day management.
  • Own pipeline and revenue targets for the Commercial segment, ensuring consistent goal achievement.
  • Build and refine inbound and outbound motions, including campaigns and industry-specific plays.
  • Partner with Marketing, Product, Sales Operations, and Solutions Engineering to execute integrated programs.
  • Establish a regular operating rhythm using data and dashboards to monitor performance and trends.
  • Provide accurate forecasting and reporting on pipeline health and productivity metrics to leadership.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of total experience in B2B SaaS or technology sales.
  • 2-4 years of frontline sales management leading high-velocity Commercial AE teams.
  • Direct exposure to cybersecurity or security tooling (vendor side or selling to CISOs/DevOps/IT buyers).
  • Proven track record of quota over-achievement as both an Individual Contributor and a manager.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical stakeholders and executive leadership.

Nice to have

  • Formal coaching or leadership training/certifications.
  • Experience at a high-growth SaaS or cloud provider.
  • Experience building or significantly reshaping a sales function's processes and playbooks.
  • Deep exposure to offensive security, red/purple teaming, or penetration testing platforms.
