What you will do

• Translate stakeholder requirements into detailed engineering specifications and design tradeoffs.
• Define system architectures for complex electromechanical machines and integrated automation systems.
• Design industrial equipment including high-reliability end effectors, motion mechanisms, and safety-compliant interfaces.
• Develop electromechanical packaging solutions involving sheet metal, cable routing, and thermal management.
• Manage external partners, including turnkey providers and subcontractors, to deliver integrated system solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on BOM creation, project scheduling, and change management.

Requirements

• Minimum B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with 8+ years of experience in machine design.
• Must be authorized to work in the US; this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
• High proficiency in SolidWorks, PDM, and enterprise/MRP systems.
• Strong fundamentals in FEA, tolerance analysis, and precision alignment.
• Knowledge of DFM, outsourced assembly, and safety compliance.
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance on complex engineering objectives.

Nice to have

• Masters in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience with motion control or automation systems.
• Familiarity with injection molding processes.
