Plant Manager (Power Generation)

What you will do

• Supervise overall plant operations and ensure the safety of employees, contractors, and the public.
• Lead day-to-day depot operations, including scheduling, technician shifts, and employee relations.
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of all power plant equipment at the assigned facility.
• Collaborate with HSEQ to implement and enforce safety procedures and conduct regular plant risk inspections.
• Partner with Operations and the Remote Operations Center to generate and complete Root Cause Analysis projects.
• Recruit, train, and supervise plant staff while managing performance targets and reviews.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in or able to work onsite in Abilene, TX
• 10+ years of experience in startup, operations, and maintenance of power plant equipment.
• 5+ years of managerial or supervisory experience with budgetary responsibility.
• Detailed understanding of electrical generation power plants, including operations, maintenance, and compliance.
• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or science (desirable).
• Valid driver’s license.

Nice to have

• Experience in operations for a new installation data center power facility.
• Proven track record of using data for operational improvements.
