User Researcher

TL;DR

User Researcher (Product Design): Conducting and planning qualitative and quantitative user research to inform service design and delivery with an accent on user-centred methodologies and stakeholder engagement. What you will do

• Plan and design bespoke user research approaches using qualitative and quantitative methods.
• Conduct user interviews, usability testing, and surveys to gather reliable insights.
• Develop and execute recruitment strategies to reach diverse user groups.
• Analyze research findings and communicate actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Advocate for user-centred design and embed it into service delivery processes.
• Collaborate effectively within agile teams including designers, developers, and product managers.

Requirements

• Must be eligible for SC clearance, including 5 years UK residency and right to work in the UK.
• Experience in user research with qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
• Ability to engage stakeholders and advocate for user-centred design.
• Experience working in agile development environments.
• Degree in related field (HCI, Psychology, Market Research) is desirable.
• Previous government experience is beneficial.
