Senior Civil Designer - Site Design (AutoCAD Civil 3D): Developing site designs and advanced drafting for mixed-use, commercial, residential, industrial, sports, and school projects with an accent on engineering calculations, construction drawings, material needs, and project specifications. Focus on independently solving non-routine design challenges, coordinating technical work, mentoring junior technicians, and supporting client and site visits.
Location: Lincoln, Nebraska or Omaha, Nebraska. Flexible remote and hybrid options are available, with the ability to travel for in-office activities, client meetings, and site visits as needed.

What you will do
- Perform intermediate- to advanced-level civil design and drafting with minimal supervision.
- Prepare preliminary designs and recommend design approaches for engineering staff.
- Run calculations, update drawings, determine material needs, and review project specifications.
- Coordinate work with less experienced technicians and mentor or train junior staff.
- Attend client meetings and support work on project sites in varied terrain and weather conditions.
Requirements
- At least six years of CAD software experience.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and contribute collaboratively to engineering and design projects.
- Associate degree in drafting or a related field preferred.
