Senior Strategic Solutions Engineer (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Drive the technical sale of hirify.global’s solution portfolio and ensure fit-for-purpose solution design.
• Build customer adoption roadmaps that maximize business value.
• Act as the technical customer advocate throughout the sales and customer-success journey.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Support to create scalable customer solutions.
• Explain complex technical concepts, Internet technologies, and solution ROI in clear business terms.
• Travel to customer offices, conferences, and speaking engagements as required.

Requirements

• Passion for technology, genuine curiosity, and the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
• Understanding of how customers make buying decisions and how to demonstrate return on investment.
• Fundamental knowledge of TCP, UDP, authoritative and recursive DNS, firewalls, TLS, and HTTP.
• Ability to manage projects, meet deadlines, and prioritize competing demands.
• Ability to develop and communicate a technical win that differentiates proposed solutions from competitors.
• Applicants must be based in the available location of Switzerland.

Nice to have

• Business fluency in German.
• Previous pre-sales solutions engineering or consulting experience.
• Scripting experience with Python, JavaScript, or Bash.
• Experience building or meaningfully contributing to a web application.
• Knowledge of web application security, PCI DSS, HIPAA, SOC 2, SASE, or Zero Trust.
