TL;DR

Strategic Alliance Manager (Microsoft): Building and owning the Microsoft alliance from the ground up to drive pipeline and accelerate deals with an accent on co-sell motions and marketplace optimization. Focus on activating Microsoft programs (MACC, Marketplace), expanding the partner ecosystem, and translating ecosystem shifts into actionable growth strategies.

Location: Remote (Canada)

Salary: $175k–225k CAD OTE

What you will do

  • Own the end-to-end Microsoft partnership to establish it as a measurable growth lever for FY27.
  • Drive co-sell motions with Microsoft field teams to generate qualified pipeline and accelerate active deals.
  • Activate and optimize Microsoft programs including MACC, Marketplace, MDF, and ISV Success.
  • Execute joint go-to-market initiatives, campaigns, and field events in collaboration with marketing.
  • Expand ShareGate's presence across the partner ecosystem (CSPs, MSPs, SIs) to increase bundle adoption.
  • Track and report on partnership performance, including co-sell pipeline and Marketplace metrics.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience within the Microsoft partner ecosystem.
  • Must be based in Canada.
  • Strong knowledge of co-sell models, Microsoft Marketplace dynamics, and MACC agreements.
  • Established network within Microsoft (field, PDMs, partner teams, executives).
  • Proven ability to build and manage strategic partnerships.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and comfort with ambiguity.
