Finance Analyst (Media & Entertainment)

What you will do

• Evaluate commercial deals with media specialists and prepare financial models for tenders, pricing, and commercial opportunities.
• Track deal performance against expectations and identify variances, risks, opportunities, and follow-up actions.
• Support M&A assessments, valuation analysis, due diligence materials, investment cases, and scenario modelling.
• Analyse the financial impact of estate investment decisions, including delivery delays, accelerations, and assumption changes.
• Provide commercial insight across environments, formats, and customer segments while partnering with Finance, Commercial, Operations, and Sales.
• Improve modelling tools, templates, and processes to strengthen consistency and efficiency.

Requirements

• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, including experience with complex data and performance reporting.
• Confident use of Excel and financial planning tools.
• Ability to challenge assumptions, solve business problems, and manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to present complex information to finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels and assess risks, opportunities, and value drivers.
• Suitable backgrounds include newly qualified industry finance professionals and candidates from advisory, consultancy, transaction services, M&A, or corporate finance.
