What you will do

• Gather and analyze data to develop business requirements and identify business priorities and timelines.
• Perform data mapping and analysis, creating visualization documents to support technical solutions.
• Translate user requirements into precise functional specifications, including workflows, business rules, and interface designs.
• Conduct gap analysis and collaborate with Architects and Developers to estimate project impact.
• Prepare business cases and effort estimations for new processes and vendor package upgrades.
• Triage and analyze incidents to provide clear business impact results.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in New Haven, CT.
• 3+ years of related work experience.
• Strong technical background with proven experience working with IT development staff.
• Proficiency in intermediate to advanced SQL queries.
• Advanced skill in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros).
• Technical understanding of digital platforms, cloud applications, web services, and APIs (REST & SOAP).

Nice to have

• Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA) or Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP).
• Experience in scripting.
