Spanish Evangelization and Catechetical Resources Specialist (Hybrid-CT)

Location: Hybrid in New Haven, Connecticut, with onsite work required 3–4 days per week. U.S. work authorization is required.

Salary: $70,500–$120,000 per year when working in Connecticut.

What you will do

• Develop Spanish evangelization, catechetical, and faith formation resources for councils, parishes, dioceses, ministries, and other Catholic Information Service customers.
• Create Cor small-group study and discussion materials, including content focused on Hispanic men.
• Develop a resource series on Our Lady of Guadalupe and St. Juan Diego.
• Review, update, edit, and translate existing Catholic Information Service materials into Spanish.
• Coordinate Spanish content with the Evangelization and Faith Formation division and other Order-wide initiatives.
• Support in-person training, digital evangelization content, and development of an online hub for catechetical and evangelization resources.

Requirements

• Bilingual English and Spanish proficiency required.
• Proven experience developing evangelization and faith formation materials within the Catholic Church in both English and Spanish.
• Strong knowledge of Catholic Church teachings, the Catechism of the Catholic Church, and general Catholic ecclesiastical matters.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Strong organizational, coordination, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work onsite 3–4 days per week in New Haven, Connecticut.
