What you will do

• Design and implement core product architecture.
• Develop clean, efficient internal and external APIs.
• Drive best practices for code review, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with product managers and UI designers to build complete solutions.
• Mentor other engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Monitor and resolve operational issues in production.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, or Green Card holder living full-time in the USA.
• 5-8 years of industry experience in web application development, preferably with Python and Django.
• Strong experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL.
• Expertise in API design and third-party system integration.
• Experience managing AI agents such as GPT, Claude, or Cursor.
• Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals including design, testing, and version control.

Nice to have

• Experience with EMR, FHIR, or EDI standards.
• Advanced degree in Computer Science.
