What you will do
- Implement efficient software primarily using Java, with occasional use of Python.
- Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure using AWS services including S3, EC2, CloudWatch, and Bedrock.
- Analyze user requirements to create robust and scalable backend solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers within an Agile framework (scrums, code reviews).
- Monitor system performance and address production issues to ensure stability.
- Create comprehensive technical documentation for users and other developers.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent training.
- 3+ years of software development experience in a team setting.
- Proficiency in Java and experience with another modern language such as Python, TypeScript, or Node.js.
- Expertise with Git-based version control and tools like Jira.
- Experience with agentic code generation tools.
- Must be based in the greater Seattle area and available to travel twice per year for on-site events.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Maven for dependency management and build tools.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Workflows or AWS Code Pipeline.
