What you will do

• Implement efficient software primarily using Java, with occasional use of Python.
• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure using AWS services including S3, EC2, CloudWatch, and Bedrock.
• Analyze user requirements to create robust and scalable backend solutions.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers within an Agile framework (scrums, code reviews).
• Monitor system performance and address production issues to ensure stability.
• Create comprehensive technical documentation for users and other developers.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent training.
• 3+ years of software development experience in a team setting.
• Proficiency in Java and experience with another modern language such as Python, TypeScript, or Node.js.
• Expertise with Git-based version control and tools like Jira.
• Experience with agentic code generation tools.
• Must be based in the greater Seattle area and available to travel twice per year for on-site events.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Maven for dependency management and build tools.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Workflows or AWS Code Pipeline.
