What you will do

• Lead the design and development of scalable, robust, and maintainable software solutions.
• Drive high-impact projects from conception to delivery, aligning with strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide technical leadership and clarify engineering decisions.
• Tackle and resolve complex technical challenges to improve platform performance.
• Build AI-powered health analysis tools and optimize algorithms for personalized recommendations.
• Enhance the integration of diverse data sources, including wearables and medical records.

Requirements

• At least 12 years of proven experience in software engineering, with significant leadership in a startup environment.
• Must be based in the US or Canada for remote work, or available in New York, Los Angeles, or Boston.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and Docker.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, TDD, and CI/CD.
• Experience building and maintaining large-scale systems.
• Excellent communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Solid background in Data Engineering.
• Technical proficiency in React, React Native, and Postgres.
• Experience building and deploying machine learning services.
• Experience as a former founder or early engineering hire in a startup.
• Familiarity with health technologies such as Oura, Whoop, Apple Watch, and CGMs.
