TL;DR

Finance Lead (Finance): Build Rally’s finance function from the ground up and partner with the CEO and leadership team on major decisions across pricing, GTM investment, headcount, vendors, and capital strategy. Focus on real-time capital efficiency through forecasting, scenario planning, SaaS unit economics, and fundraising-ready financial modeling, while modernizing reporting and close infrastructure with AI and automation.

Location: Remote-first within the United States (NYC preferred). Occasional travel for team gatherings, board meetings, and investor meetings.

Salary: $160,000–$190,000 USD per year + equity

hirify.global builds a User Research CRM that automates the recruiting lifecycle and helps product and research teams work with users quickly and safely at scale.

What you will do

  • Own daily visibility into cash, burn, and runway; drive capital efficiency accountability with leadership.
  • Build and maintain end-to-end financial models: forecasting, scenario planning, cohort analysis, fundraising prep, and unit economics.
  • Run budget construction and spend tracking (budget vs. actuals), centralizing visibility into SaaS, AI, and vendor spend.
  • Lead finance for pricing and GTM decisions: modeling, scenario analysis, impact measurement, and CAC/payback/cohort NDR pipeline-to-bookings and commission modeling.
  • Own procurement and vendor financial review; support tool selection and negotiation strategy.
  • Build board/investor/fundraising materials and manage outsourced accounting partner to ensure accurate and timely close.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the United States (NYC preferred).
  • 3–8 years post-undergrad experience in investment banking, private equity, growth equity, venture capital, and/or strategic finance at a high-growth SaaS startup.
  • Strong financial modeling skills, including cohort analysis, unit economics, and scenario planning.
  • Fluency in SaaS metrics (ARR, NDR/GRR, CAC, payback, magic number, burn multiple, gross margin, cohort retention).
  • Hands-on operator mindset: run the budget and model to drive decisions, not only produce decks.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and ability to build the finance playbook as the company evolves.

Nice to have

  • In-house experience at a high-growth SaaS or AI-native startup (Series A–C).
  • Experience with SaaS pricing and packaging changes.
  • Experience managing procurement and SaaS/AI spend in a high-growth environment.
  • Exposure to fundraising processes (data room prep, model diligence, investor narrative).
  • Strong written communication turning complex analysis into clear recommendations.
