What you will do

• Build multi-year capacity forecasts and scenario models across CPU, GPU, and accelerator footprints.
• Manage day-to-day CSP spend, including monthly billing, variance analysis, and forecasting.
• Lead ROI and trade-off analysis for new platforms, hardware generations, and efficiency initiatives.
• Drive CSP rate and commit negotiations using benchmarking and contract modeling.
• Own end-to-end management and forecasting of inference costs and product unit economics.
• Partner with Engineering and Product teams to align infrastructure strategy with the company's financial trajectory.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in strategic finance or FP&A at a high-growth technology company.
• 2+ years of experience in investment banking at a top-tier firm.
• Strong financial modeling skills and the ability to translate complex operating data into decision-ready analysis.
• Proven track record of partnering effectively with engineering or technical teams.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in San Francisco.

Nice to have

• Direct experience managing or modeling cloud infrastructure spend (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Background in AI, ML, or high-performance computing infrastructure economics.
• Familiarity with GPU pricing, reserved/committed structures, and CSP discount mechanics.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
