TL;DR

Account Executive (SLED): Driving sales strategy and revenue growth within the public sector, education, and government markets with an accent on consultative selling and complex deal management. Focus on building executive-level relationships, managing the full sales cycle, and positioning cybersecurity solutions to address critical software supply chain risks.

Location: Must be based in the United States

Compensation: $135,000 – $145,000 base salary plus performance-based bonus/commission

What you will do

  • Identify and qualify SLED market opportunities to build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Engage with resellers and partners to expand market reach in the public sector.
  • Develop and present tailored proposals and quotes for government and educational institutions.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and forecasting within Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their unique security challenges and objectives.
  • Network at industry events and conferences to generate new leads.

Requirements

  • 5-6 years of experience in the public sector (SLED) delivering value propositions.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Extensive consultative sales experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas.
  • Deep domain expertise in cybersecurity.
  • Strong existing relationships with resellers and partners in the SLED vertical.
  • Knowledge of state contracts and procurement vehicles.
