What you will do
- Define and drive the product strategy for RCM initiatives, covering patient scheduling, registration, insurance verification, and financial reporting.
- Form external partnerships to accelerate the RCM platform ecosystem strategy.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration across engineering, UX, marketing, and sales to deliver high-quality RCM products.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis within the front-end RCM landscape to identify trends and differentiation opportunities.
- Develop data-driven business cases with success metrics tied to eligibility accuracy and authorization approval rates.
- Communicate the RCM product vision and strategy effectively to top-level executives and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Location: Must be based in the United States
- 7+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years in a senior role focused on Revenue Cycle Management.
- Proven success in healthcare technology, specifically emphasizing patient access and RCM workflows.
- Deep understanding of EMR systems, healthcare interoperability, APIs, and point-of-service collections.
- Analytical mindset with expertise in RCM KPIs such as denial prevention and authorization turnaround times.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Healthcare, or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to have
- Experience with eligibility and benefits data standards (EDI 270/271, HL7, FHIR) and payer connectivity.
- Familiarity with prior authorization standards (CMS rules, Da Vinci Project, PARDD).
- Knowledge of regulatory bodies and compliance requirements including CMS, ONC, and HIPAA.
- Experience with AI-driven technologies for automated eligibility verification or intelligent scheduling.
- Strong background in user research and RCM performance reporting.
