What you will do

• Define and own the product direction and roadmap for PM and EMR, focusing on RCM outcomes like eligibility, charge capture, and claims.
• Manage the Jira backlog end-to-end, including grooming, prioritization, and writing detailed epics and stories.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Business Analysts, overseeing their assignments and performance.
• Partner with Tech Leads on architectural trade-offs, integration design (HL7, FHIR, X12), and legacy modernization.
• Run effective Scrum ceremonies as a Product Owner, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Implement AI-assisted workflows to accelerate documentation, meeting synthesis, and artifact generation.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• 5+ years of experience in product management for healthcare PM, RCM, or EMR products.
• Deep working knowledge of ambulatory revenue cycle (270/271, 837P/I, 835, payer rules).
• Direct people management experience, specifically coaching and developing analysts.
• Hands-on mastery of Jira for backlog management and a strong command of Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with healthcare integration standards including HL7, FHIR, or X12.

Nice to have

• Prior hands-on experience as a medical biller, coder, practice administrator, or RCM analyst.
• Experience managing products undergoing legacy modernization.
• Proven history of introducing AI-assisted productivity tools to a professional team.
• Experience shaping AI-assisted product features like denial prediction or prior auth automation.
